Several socio-economic and development projects were launched or inaugurated in Khenifra, on the occasion of the celebration of the 69th anniversary of Independence Day, with a view to giving new impetus to the strong development dynamic underway in the province.
Thus, the governor of the province of Khénifra, Mohamed Adil Ihourane, accompanied by a delegation made up of elected officials, parliamentarians and heads of external and security services, proceeded to the inauguration of the “Brahim Amaoun” community school. as part of efforts to combat school dropouts in rural areas.
Totaling an amount of 13 million DH, this establishment includes several infrastructures, including a boarding school with a capacity of 120 beds, a preschool unit, classrooms, a library, a multimedia room, a sports field and a a number of other basic facilities.
The governor and the delegation accompanying him launched construction work on provincial road No. 7305 linking Aït Ishak and Aourach between kilometer points 9+000 and 250+12 for a total cost of 19 million DH, a project which is part of the program to reduce spatial and social disparities, and which aims to facilitate access to tourist areas, to ensure fluidity of traffic and to open up the rural population.

In the commune of Khénifra, the “Oum Er-Rbia” Youth House was inaugurated, as part of efforts aimed at bringing together cultural services for the benefit of young people and the revitalization of the cultural activity. With a total cost of 3 million DH, this project is part of a partnership between the Department of Culture and the municipality of Khénifra.
In the commune of Oum Er Rbia, work to widen provincial road No. 7304 linking Mrirt and the sources of Oum Er Rbia between two kilometer points was donated for an amount of 64 million dirhams.
On this occasion, the governor and the delegation took note of the reconstruction project of a work of art at the level of Oued Fellat at the level of kilometer point 29+100 of the provincial road n°7311, for a financial cost amounting to 14 million DH, before finding out about another similar project including the reconstruction of a work of art on Oued Boukedjik at the PK level 28+200 on provincial road no. 7311, for a total financial envelope of 10.32 MDH.
The strengthening of the social and solidarity economy was not left out with the laying of the first stone for the construction of a solidarity market for local products on the Chellal site in Khénifra (13 MDH). This space is intended to be a platform for marketing the products of local cooperatives, while creating job opportunities for young people and women in the region.
