The MR announces that it will finally have three provincial deputies in Walloon Brabant

On November 14, the Engagés announced that Maha Karim-Hosselet would be their party’s second provincial deputy. It won’t happen. “Maha Karim-Hosselet will have a strategic role by chairing the economic intermunicipal association of Walloon Brabant (InBW). The MR will assume the presidency of the social intercommunal association of Walloon Brabant (ISBW)”indicates the MR Walloon Brabant. Cédric du Monceau de Bergendael (Les Engagés) will chair the provincial council during the first part of the legislature, before handing over to Olivier Vanham (Les Engagés).

“The agreement gives a new boost of vitality, proximity and efficiency at the provincial level, in line with community and regional political declarations. It ensures coherence and effectiveness of political actions in the service of the 27 municipalities, the specificities of the territory and for the benefit of Brabant citizens, in a logic of supracommunality […] Both parties welcome the final outcome of the negotiations and are committed to working with mutual respect.”further indicates the Walloon Brabant MR.
