After the issuance of more than thirty national search warrants against him, members of the Royal Gendarmerie were able to put an end, this weekend, to the influence, tyranny and activity of a well-known drug trafficker from the Casablanca-Settat region, nicknamed “Baznaz Al-Tarifiyah” after the place of his fame, which is the Al-Sawalem region Al-Tarifiyah.

In detail, members of the Royal Gendarmerie, under the direct supervision of the regional commander, were able to set up a precise ambush yesterday in the early morning, arresting “Al-Baznaz” and his sister without resistance.

According to the instructions of the public prosecutor, a search of the detainee’s home was carried out and significant quantities of various drugs were found, such as “Al-Kif”, “Shira”, “Qarqoubi” and “Al-Bufa”, which were on their way to being distributed.

The searches also resulted in the seizure of three luxury cars, as well as three modern and sophisticated motorcycles, and large sums of money. The detainee and his sister were placed under theoretical custody measures to further the investigation with them before bringing them to justice.
