The Banque Internationale Arabe de Tunisie announces a 5% increase in its net banking income in the third quarter of 2024.

At the end of the third quarter of 2024, the net banking income (NBI) of the Banque Internationale Arabe de Tunisie (BIAT) increased by 5% compared to the third quarter of 2023, according to the quarterly activity indicators established by the management of this banking establishment.

This GNP amounted to 1,089 million dinars (MD) compared to 1,040 MD as of September 30, 2023.

According to the bank’s management, the outstanding net credits increased by 4.42%, to 12,431 MD against 11,904 MD in the third quarter of 2023. For its part, the outstanding deposits increased by 11. 39% to 19,724 MD against 17,706 MD as of September 30, 2023.

Regarding BIAT’s banking operating income, they increased from 1,600 MD at the end of September 2023 to 1,710 MD at the end of September 2024. As for banking operating expenses, they amounted to 621 MD compared to 560 MD at the end of September 2024. September 30, 2023.

During the period under review, BIAT’s operating expenses (including personnel costs and general operating expenses) increased by 13%, standing at 469 MD compared to 415 MD a year earlier.
