Halevi in ​​Kfar Kila, South Lebanon: “As long as Hezbollah continues to shoot, we will continue to fight”

Israeli Chief of Staff General Herzli Halevi toured Israeli soldiers stationed in Kfar Kila in South Lebanon, according to army spokesperson Avichay Adraee. During this visit, he affirmed that the Israeli army “will continue to fight and strike deeply” against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Herzli Halevi’s visit took place “during the week”, said Avichay Adraee without providing a date, in order to “assess the situation in the Kfar Kila region”. Addressing soldiers mobilized in the sector, the officer affirmed that “Hezbollah is paying a high price”, with the elimination of its “chain of command” and the “destruction of its infrastructure”. “As long as Hezbollah continues to fire, we will continue to fight, move forward, implement our plans, carry out deep attacks and hit them very hard,” he said. “We will only stop when we know we can safely bring people back” to villages in northern Israel, he added.

During the day, Israeli strikes were sustained, carried out within two hours of each other, while calls to evacuate the southern suburbs and the South were made by spokesperson Avichay Adraee around 8 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:50 p.m. and 5 p.m.
