Train derailment in Longueuil: exo services affected in the sector

Users of line 13 of the exo commuter train, which links Mont-Saint-Hilaire to Montreal, will have to check their departures since some are affected due to the derailment of a train in Longueuil, as are bus services.

After the cancellation of the 12:30 p.m. departures of line 13 from Central Station and the 1:45 p.m. departure from Mont-Saint-Hilaire station, the 3:50 p.m. departure from Central Station was also canceled.

“Exo will inform its customers of the status of service for the evening peak around 3 p.m., depending on the situation on the railway tracks in the Saint-Lambert sector,” explained the company in a press release.

Users will be able to use the exo line 200 of the Longueuil – University of Sherbrooke metro, line 300 from the Brossard REM station and the RTL lines for users heading towards the Saint-Lambert and Longueuil-St-stations. Hubert.

“TRAIN tickets will be accepted on board the Montreal metro, REM and RTL bus lines,” it was noted.

Delays of 15 to 30 minutes are also expected due to the closure of Route 116 for bus lines 200 in the Vallée-Richelieu sector and 681 in the Chambly-Richelieu-Carignan sector.
