The conference participants also emphasized the need to reconcile approaches to the creation of new effective international transport corridors and the maintenance of existing corridors in the interests of mutually beneficial development of Russia and African states.
“We emphasize the need to ensure their security in accordance with international law, including preventing the violation of supply chains, as one of the main tasks. We consider it necessary to strengthen the dialogue between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), countries and major integrations of the African continent, as well as to support the efforts of African states seeking to conclude free trade agreements with the EEU,” we can read in the press release.
