Club World Cup: Wydad will know its opponents on December 5

The draw for the 2025 Club World Cup will take place on December 5 in Miami, the International Federation (FIFA) announced on Monday.

Scheduled from 1:00 p.m. local time (6:00 p.m. GMT), the draw will determine the eight groups of four teams who will compete in the first phase of the tournament, the first edition of which will take place from June 15 to July 13, 2025 in twelve American stadiums.

The 16 clubs finishing in the first two places in each group will qualify for the knockout phase, from the round of 16 to the final, without a match for third place.

All qualifiers for this quadrennial tournament will be known by then. All that is missing for now is the winner of the Copa Libertadores, whose 100% Brazilian final will pit Atletico Mineiro against Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas on November 30.
