The French Institute of Morocco is organizing “Digital November” from November 1 to 30, 2024 in several cities in the Kingdom.
Thus, the twelve branches of the French Institute of Morocco will offer shows throughout the month of November at the crossroads of digital arts to showcase the best of French and Moroccan digital creation, in particular: an Immersion by the company Verlatour x inlum.in. This interactive and participatory electro concert with boundless energy invites the public to become an actor in the experience, plunging them into a retro-futuristic universe while redrawing the links between the artist and the spectator. Plus, an immersive dome with #Drift and augmented theater. “In this show, the audience will follow the story of a little girl who is passionate about science and who loves reading and telling stories.
Following a tragedy, she will meet avatar monsters (3D puppets) who will allow her to reconnect with her emotions, hence the title of the show. A fusion between traditional theater and digital technologies, augmented theater makes it possible to superimpose on the real world an artificial world created digitally, in real time,” indicate the organizers.
To celebrate digital, the IF of Morocco is going outside the walls this year to partner with various actors and support several major digital events like Visa For Music, scheduled this year from November 20 to 23 in Rabat or the 1st edition of Digital Art Khouribga (DAK). The IF also partners with the International Video Art Festival and the 7th International Text Conference [S-ON] Image, organized by the University of Paris 8 and the National Institute of Fine Arts of Tetouan, which will take place on November 25 and 26 in Tetouan.
