Their first meeting dates back to December 1961 backstage at the Olympia in Paris. Already a big star, Johnny meets the young singer considered very promising for the first time. Four years later, the couple married in Loconville, in Oise. After a passionate relationship for many years, Sylvie Vartan decided to divorce on November 5, 1980. Very close to the rocker, the two exes kept a strong bond after their breakup, the Taulier even coming regularly to the singer and her new husband Tony Scotti.
We can't be at peace
“It's been seven years since Johnny left us. Sincere and touching, Sylvie Vartan even confesses to still thinking about him very often.”Even when we were separated, he often came to our house, he loved Tony very much and vice versa… He often spent time with us in Los Angeles…” explains the 80-year-old singer.
