The singer would have insisted

A former tour technician filed a complaint this Monday with the Saint-Étienne public prosecutor's office for sexual harassment against singer Slimane, reports information from Parisian. The complaint was filed in Saint-Étienne, where the facts allegedly took place during the night of December 17 to 18, 2023, during a concert at the Zénith.

This concert was the sixth of the “Cupid Tour”, which had started eighteen days earlier and included a break for Christmas. After the show, Slimane and his team organized a small party backstage to celebrate the end of this first part of the tour.

According to the complaint consulted by our colleagues, it was after the stage was dismantled, around one in the morning, that the technician joined the party. He claims to have been “blocked against a wall” by Slimane, who allegedly offered him a sexual relationship. Despite the refusals of the technician, who says he is heterosexual and married, Slimane insisted and dragged him into his dressing room.

The technician's lawyer, Me Anne-Sophie Charrier, explains that her client, very uncomfortable, left the dressing room hastily, but Slimane then allegedly sent him messages and videos of a sexual nature for two and a half hours from the tour bus.

The next day, the technician informed his employer, who decided to withdraw his two employees from the tour and inform the production company Play Two. Meetings took place with the producers to discuss the situation and remind them of the ethical principles of their collaboration, while looking for a new team for the resumption of the “Cupid Tour” scheduled for February.
