The main suspect in the murder of Philippine, Taha O., was indicted on Wednesday, November 6, for “murder accompanied by another crime”, which makes him “incurring life imprisonment”declared the Paris prosecutor's office to AFP. He is also indicted for rape, as a repeat offender. He was placed in pre-trial detention.

This 22-year-old man was handed over to the French authorities in the morning of Wednesday. Detained in Switzerland, he accepted his extradition to France at the end of October, after initially refusing it.

Under an obligation to leave French territory, the Moroccan was arrested in Geneva (Switzerland) four days after the murder of Philippine. The lifeless body of this 19-year-old student at Paris-Dauphine University was found buried in the Bois de Boulogne, in western Paris, on September 21.
