Access to justice. This is the key theme that the Geneva Consultation Center for Victims of Crime (LAVI Center) has chosen to celebrate, this Thursday, its 30e birthday. With the program, the organization of an interdisciplinary conference intended to fuel this reflection and raise awareness among those involved in the penal chain. Without forgetting the provision of new brochures explaining the functioning of the judicial machine to the people concerned. Because the procedure still too often arouses fear and represents a real ordeal for those who have suffered physical, psychological or sexual violence, as well as for their loved ones. An update on the situation with Muriel Golay, director of this center whose mission is to support and protect victims.
