A 22-year-old man was indicted on October 25 by a Foix investigating judge for “arrest”, “sequestration” and “rape” after the discovery of a young woman tied up in a field in Orgeix, in Ariège, BFMTV learned from a judicial source confirming the information from La Dépêche du Midi.
The investigation by the Foix research brigade, with the support of the community of gendarmerie brigades of Ax-les-Thermes, began with the discovery by local residents of the victim of a young woman of 25 years in a field, in Orgeix, a small town of barely 100 inhabitants. Found tied up, the victim was raped.
An acquaintance of the victim
The events occurred on the night of October 23 to 24. A search warrant was issued by the Foix public prosecutor's office leading to the arrest in the Pyrénées-Orientales of a 22-year-old man, a few hours after the discovery of the young woman.
The suspect is an acquaintance of the victim. At the end of his police custody, he was presented to an investigating judge at the Foix judicial court who indicted him. He was placed in pre-trial detention.
