Tuesday 7 p.m. on RDS, the Montreal Canadiens face the Calgary Flames

Don’t miss the Canadiens v. Flames on RDS and RDS.ca from 7 p.m.

On the wrong side of a three-game losing streak, the Montreal Canadiens (4-7-1) will be back in front of their fans Tuesday night when the Calgary Flames (6-5-1) will be visiting.

After two games on opposing ice rinks, two losses against the Capitals and the Penguins, it is at home that Martin St-Louis’ men will try to get back on the path to victory and the Habs benefited from an optional morning training in anticipation of the meeting.

Eleven players took to the Bell Center ice: Michael Pezzetta, Emil Heineman, Jake Evans, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, Joel Armia, Oliver Kapanen, Alex Newhook, Lane Hutson, Justin Barron, Jayden Struble and Arber Xhekaj. Goalkeepers Samuel Montembeault and Cayden Primeau also received pucks from their teammates in the morning.

The Flames, after a loss against the Oilers in Calgary on Sunday, begin a three-game trip to the East while the Canadian will be the first stop before then visiting the Bruins and the Sabres.

Like the Canadian, Calgary is in the heart of a difficult streak with five defeats in their last six games. On the other hand, the 17 goals allowed by Montreal in the last three games will perhaps be a glimmer of hope for Jonathan Huberdeau and his teammates.

Samuel Montembeault will be the Canadiens’ starting goalie Tuesday night and Justin Barron will be left out of the defenseman rotation.

On the Calgary side, here is the formation during the morning training.

Zary – Kadri – Kuzmenko
Huberdeau – Sharangovich – Mantha
Coleman – Backlund – Coronato
Lomberg – Kirkland – Pospisil

Bahl – Andersson
Weegar – Miromanov
Barrie – Pascal

Dustin Wolf will be the starting goalie at the Bell Center while Daniel Vladar will be on duty as an auxiliary.
