Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), through its Digital Ecosystem Office, announced the deployment of ChatGPT Edu, marking an important milestone in becoming the first African university to integrate this powerful artificial intelligence tool into its academic and operational functions .

Powered by GPT-4o, OpenAI’s tool, ChatGPT Edu promises to revolutionize education by offering personalized learning and support for administrative efficiency, underlines UM6P in a press release.

Renowned for its commitment to cutting-edge research and educational innovation, UM6P has long championed the role of digital tools in empowering students, faculty members and researchers, indicates the same source.

And continued that this collaboration with OpenAI reinforces the leadership of the UM6P in the adoption of AI for transformative educational results, explaining that with the deployment of ChatGPT Edu, the UM6P is making significant progress in its mission of emancipate minds through education, research and entrepreneurship.

As part of this initiative, ChatGPT Edu will be used in several areas within the university, including personalized learning for students: students will be able to participate in tailored tutoring sessions, create personalized AI assistants for their courses and even prepare for their careers through interactive resume reviews and mock interviews.
