Appointments of Samba Ndiaye to Sn-Hlm: Waly Diouf Bodiang and Abass Fall want to dislodge the new Pca – Lequotidien

The recent appointment of Samba Ndiaye as Chairman of the Board of Directors (Pca) of the National Society for Low-Rent Housing (Sn-Hm), this Wednesday during the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers, raises a wave of protests among certain officials of the Pastef party such as Waly Diouf Bodiang, Managing Director of the Port of Dakar, and former MP Abass Fall. Other activists and supporters of Pastef are also pulling in the same direction.

By Amadou MBODJI – Clearly, the promotion of certain politicians given the title of transhumants, due to their change of political camp, by the authorities at the head of the State continues to arouse a wave of anger in the highest echelons of the Pastef party. After the activists and sympathizers of the party of Sonko and Diomaye Faye, it is the turn of senior officials like Waly Diouf Bodiang, Director General of the Autonomous Port of Dakar (Pad) and very close to the president of the Pastef party, to step up to the plate. Bodiang does not fail to express his anger. Since he expressed it through his Facebook page. This inspector of Taxes and training areas, reputed to be intractable with the supporters of the old regime through his diatribes against the latter, does not at all approve of the appointment of an ally of the Pastef party and former member of the “Diomaye President” Coalition, Samba Ndiaye, former mayor of the commune of Ndoffane, in the department of Kaolack.

Waly Diouf Bodiang, who had deplored, a few weeks ago, the fact that the country was not “totally cleansed” of members of the former presidential movement, therefore wrote a text on social networks to show that it is far from being in phase with the individual measure taken this Wednesday during the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers by the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye. Thus, by visiting the Facebook page of the boss of the Autonomous Port of Dakar, right-hand man of the Pastef party leader, Ousmane Sonko, the reader will read: “Remove Samba and free Ndiaye.” In high places, the authorities will probably not fail to appreciate this reaction from Waly Diouf Bodiang.

This state of affairs provoked an unusual initiative on social networks. Since it led to the launch of a petition whose ultimate goal remains that the individual measure to the advantage of the former Director General of the Company of Infrastructure and Naval Repairs (Sirn), under the reign of the former President of the Republic, Macky Sall, be canceled. This initiative met with the approval and support of the departmental head of the Pastef party in Dakar. Former MP Abass Fall, not to name him, also invited himself to this concert of protests which extends its tentacles and its field of influence and reactions.

Former parliamentarian Abass Fall, who by force of circumstances became a signatory of this petition, was quick to accuse his ally Samba Ndiaye of having “his hands stained with the blood of our martyrs”. This did not fail to push Fall to demand the immediate departure of Ndiaye from his brand new station.

Pastef Grand-Yoff and Co. also contest
In the panels and on social networks, activists and supporters of the political party in power, Pastef, almost unanimously, do not agree with the appointment of Samba Ndiaye to this administrative station.
“Honestly, your nomination choices are very lame and harmful.” “Samba Ndiaye, frankly! It is time for President Diomaye and his Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko to reflect on their choices.” “You are ruining our lives,” we read on the status of a Pastéfian.

Very upset apparently against this appointment of the former mayor of the commune of Ndoffane, department of Kaolack, certain comrades or sympathizers of Ousmane Sonko and Bassirou Diomaye Faye criticize the new ones promoted by the authorities for having made “not very Catholic remarks against their leader Sonko during the Apr regime.

Those who carried the “Project” deserve more consideration than the former mayor, this is a position defended by other activists. “To brandish the argument according to which Samba Ndiaye was from the “Diomaye President” Coalition, is to insult those who gave birth to the “Project” by cesarean section,” says another. Moreover, the municipal section of Pastef Grand-Yoff issued a press release to denounce this appointment. “It is with great indignation that the Pastef Grand-Yoff section learned of the appointment of Samba Ndiaye Pca Sn-Hlm”, underlines this dismemberment of the ruling party, which considers “this as an affront”.

“This decision, which we consider an affront, constitutes obvious contempt for the activists and sympathizers who sacrificed themselves for the realization of the political project that we carry,” mentions the document whose authors thus denounce the then attitude of the Pca towards their leader.
“It is important to remember that Mr. Samba Ndiaye, through his actions and his public declarations, has continued to insult our leaders and our members,” they note. Before continuing in these terms: “He is infamous for his repeated verbal attacks, notably when he described us as “terrorists” after the unjustified arrest of our sister Yacine Diagne.” According to these early activists of the Pastef party, “this marginalization is a blatant lack of recognition towards those who supported, with determination and conviction, the distinctives of Justice and change carried by our party”. The press release adds: “Appointing a person like Samba Ndiaye, who has never stopped denigrating us and sullying the image of our leaders, is not only an error, but an unacceptable lack of respect towards the activists of Pastef Grand- Yoff.”
