“The largest pink carac in the world” was presented on Saturday morning in Lausanne. It was made by Maison Buet which, like many other French-speaking bakeries, sells pink caracs during the month of October to contribute to the fight against breast cancer.

Started in 2022 with three confectioneries then 100 last year, the “Le Carac rose” operation brings together 250 bakeries this year. Migros has also decided to support the action by offering these pastries in its French-speaking stores.

For each pink carac sold, 50 cents are donated to one of the seven associations or foundations supporting women affected by breast cancer. The goal is to sell 100,000 this year.

It was to give even more resonance to this campaign that the Carac Rose association challenged Maison Buet to make a giant pink carac. This was presented and tasted on Saturday morning in Lausanne.
