Rotary Gaillac-St-Michel: a march against polio

The Rotary Club of Gaillac Saint-Michel is organizing a solidarity march as part of the “End polio now” program, in support of the fight against polio on a global scale. This event will be held on Sunday October 20 at 9 a.m. at the Domaine de Borie Vieille in Lisle-sur-Tarn. This walk, open to all, aims to raise awareness and funds to eradicate polio, a disease that continues to affect many lives in certain regions of the world. “Thanks to the PolioPlus program, Rotary has been actively engaged, for decades, in eliminating polio. Each local initiative contributes to this global cause,” explains Franck Champoudry, of the Gaillac Saint-Michel Lions Club. On the program for the morning, departure of the walk at 9 a.m.; at 12 p.m., lunch from the bag, to share a friendly moment after the effort. This walk is a unique opportunity to mobilize locally for a global cause, while having a pleasant time in a natural setting. Every step counts and brings us closer to the definitive eradication of polio.”
