Liam Payne, member of One Direction, died this Wednesday, September 16 after falling from his hotel room in Buenos Aires. Footage of his bedroom has been revealed.
Debris of glass, broken television, discarded glass of alcohol, remains of a burnt candle… The spectacle is distressing. Images of the room occupied by Liam Payne, former singer of the group One Direction, are making the rounds on the networks.
The living room is trashed. The floor is dirty, cluttered with waste and leftovers. A photo taken in the bathroom shows the bathtub in a sorry state, with pieces of burnt aluminum and white powder in the bottom. According to the prosecution, “a series of substances were seized in the musician’s room which would support a previous situation of alcohol and narcotics consumption“.
According to our Argentinian colleagues from La Nacion, these photos could provide more detail on this tragic accident.
“An aggressive man”
Liam Payne occupied a room on the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, with a balcony overlooking a backyard, a height of almost 14 meters. The medical team that rushed in could only “notice death“. “There was no possibility of resuscitation“, affirmed the head of emergencies.
According to the authorities, the police were called around 5 p.m. local time (10 p.m. here). A hotel employee reportedly reported “an aggressive man who may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol“.
The latter would also have expressed his concern about the state of the room occupied by the singer. “When he’s conscious, he destroys everything in the room… We need you to send someone”the latter would have declared.
To date, the precise circumstances of the death are not yet known.
