This Wednesday, CAF carried out the draw for the qualifiers for the African Nations Championship for locals (see video), the tournament of which will be jointly organized by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, from February 1 to 28, 2025.
The Tunisian selection, Libya and their Moroccan counterpart are qualified without playing, due to the tripartite organization of this 8th edition and recovering the 3 qualifying places in the North Africa zone (UNAF) since Algeria, host and finalist of the previous edition, and Egypt chose not to register.

As a reminder, the first round of qualifying will take place from October 25 to 27 (first leg) and November 1 to 3 (return matches), except for the many exempt countries. The second round will take place from December 20 to 22 (outbound) and from December 27 to 29 (return).
