The New Revelation of Senegalese music

Amadou Aw, better known as Amflo, is considered the new musical revelation from the suburbs of Dakar. Since his debut in 2015, he has distinguished himself with a unique style and a deep understanding of sound production, as a composer, guitarist and sound technician.

His career was enriched by his training at the Africultureban center, where he was able to develop his style while benefiting from valuable resources. His music fuses local and international influences, which positions him as a key figure on the Senegalese music scene.

In 2024, Amflo signed a contract with the HOSIDE label, known for propelling talents like Akhlou Brick and Jahman Xpress. HOSIDE was attracted to Amflo’s versatility, able to navigate different genres while maintaining authenticity. This collaboration aims to elevate his art while remaining true to his roots.

His latest music video, titled ‘Wonn na la’, released at the beginning of September, testifies to his incessant quest for authenticity and innovation. Amflo is thus on the verge of establishing itself on the national scene, aspiring to have a lasting impact on the Senegalese musical landscape.
