Our opinion on Le Royal Mansour Casablanca

How is the hotel?

The Royal Mansour Casablanca marks the rebirth of an emblematic palace of the city, the first 5-star hotel in Casablanca, designed by the architect Émile-Jean Duhon, inaugurated in 1953 and quickly became the meeting place for the “happy few” of the city. In 2024, after eight years of work and more than 1,200 workers on site, the white building has regained all its immaculate shine and the ballet of liveried valets and bellboys in front of its entrance doors.

Once these are crossed, the magic begins immediately, as one remains speechless at the work of the artist Charles Kalpakian who welcomes the traveler, then at the magnificence of the lobby, where an aquarium, a Bohemian crystal light fixture ( with 149 waves to echo the 149 keys) and opening onto the patio designed by Luis Vallejo, compete for the spotlight to dazzle and delight us.

On 23 floors, 149 rooms, suites and private apartments, 3 restaurants including one on 23th floor with 360° views of the city and the ocean, an incredible wellness and spa area, a conference center and a ballroom like we have rarely seen… The Royal Mansour Casablanca is the haunt of Modern Gatsby. A place that can also lend itself well to seminars more serious than at the most elegant evenings, or at the reunion of lovers in search of tranquility and a change of scenery.
