Tire manufacturer Hankook launches its subsidiary in Morocco

Hankook settles in Morocco. The development of the presence of tire manufacturer in the Kingdom will offer local customers expanded access to an even more diverse range of tires suitable for various types of vehicles, such as passenger cars, vans, SUVs, recreational vehicles, as well as trucks and buses, the company said in a press release. The new subsidiary will better meet the needs of local customers with a dedicated team, first-rate technical support and an efficient distribution network. Customers will benefit from personalized advice and rapid assistance to guarantee professional service.

This initiative also aims to strengthen the presence of Hankook in the region of Maghreb and theWest Africa. Don Yi Jeon was appointed Managing Director of the new Moroccan subsidiary. Having joined Hankook in 2007, he held various marketing and sales positions at the company’s headquarters in Korea and previously oversaw the Middle East/Africa region as senior manager of Hankook’s Dubai sales office. His experience and strategic vision will play a key role in the success of Hankook’s expansion in this strategic region.
