Presidents Cup: a free shuttle tested for you

In full transparency, the alternative is more than interesting. The free shuttle between the Côte-Vertu metro station and the Royal Montréal golf club, on Île Bizard, helps avoid many traffic problems.

Obviously, this does not magically resolve the multiple issues observed by residents of Île Bizard and Pierrefonds-Roxboro, but public transportation can only help to alleviate the current situation. There were around forty of us, excluding the driver Roxanne, who took advantage of the same shuttle when the Journal, Friday morning.

“Everything is well done, except that there are no signs,” quipped a user, however preferring to remain anonymous. It would have been too logical to add some.”

If we had one criticism to make, it would indeed be the lack of displays helping to find the shuttles at the large Côté-Vertu metro terminus.

By observing a few school buses in the distance, however, it was possible to guess that these were the vehicles that were going to take us to our destination.

Less than 40 minutes

The journey took less than 40 minutes in total. Around thirty to get to the Jacques-Bizard bridge and about two minutes to cross it.

Once there, a few kilometers further, the display is much clearer in the parking lot for this purpose. The problem remains that you must first get there before taking the return shuttle.
