Of the 38 ministers proposed by Michel Barnier, nine come from the LR and they are the main entrants. Including leading figures from the right, such as the president of their group in the Senate, Bruno Retailleau, who will move to the Interior. Annie Genevard, a historic executive, is proposed for Agriculture. The right also takes Higher Education, Overseas (François-Noël Buffet expected), Family and Trade. But its weight is nevertheless revised downwards and Laurent Wauquiez himself regretted it, while he gave up on entering and Bercy had been proposed to him.
The Ministry of Economy will ultimately be retained by the Macronists, with two deputies: Antoine Armand and Mathieu Lefevre (Budget). The presidential camp would retain National Education (the deputy of the North Violette Spillebout is cited), Labor, Foreign Affairs (Jean-Noël Barrot), Health with Geneviève Darrieussecq, and the post of spokesperson with Maud Bregeon.
Five outgoing members have been reappointed: Rachida Dati in Culture, Sébastien Lecornu in the Armed Forces, and others changing positions, such as Catherine Vautrin in Territories or Agnès Pannier-Runacher in Ecology.
Finally, a left-wing figure appears: that of the former socialist elected official Didier Migaud, close to François Hollande, oriented towards Justice.
This list could evolve marginally but it seems almost finalized. The nominations are expected this weekend.
