Zannier Hotels partners with Neom to create Zannier Zardun, a 100-room eco-resort located in the Magna region, in the heart of the Gulf of Aqaba, northwest Saudi Arabia.

Zannier Hotels, known for its unique hotel projects that combine authenticity, simplicity and discreet luxury, announced in early September a partnership with Neom to develop a new eco-resort. Where? In Zardun, one of Magna’s destinations located in northwest Saudi Arabia. Overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Aqaba, Zannier Zardun will nestle in a semi-desert landscape that stretches from the mountains to the sea, passing through a vast coastal plain.

The futuristic megalopolis Neom, estimated at $500 billion, is one of the flagship projects of Vision 2030, the Saudi initiative aimed at diversifying the country’s economy. While Neom has largely made headlines for its iconic project “The Line”, questions have persisted until now about the economic and environmental feasibility of this futuristic city. It is in this context that Zannier Hotels is engaging with the rich Saudi fund to bring to life Zannier Zardun, an ambitious project that will extend over four square kilometers and will include 100 rooms and suites spread across three separate buildings.

Authenticity at the heart of the Zannier Zardun project in Magna

True to its philosophy, the French group will favor an authentic experience, often inspired by local cultures and with minimalist design. We are delighted to formalize our collaboration with Neomsaid Arnaud Zannier, founder of Zannier Hotels, in a statement. This partnership marks an important milestone, consolidating our position among the leading luxury hospitality brands. It underlines our ambitious vision and commitment to excellence, serving as a cornerstone for our evolution and reaffirming our legitimacy as an operator in the hotel market.»

In this project, Neom and Zannier Hotels reaffirm their commitment to the preservation of the natural environment, with the creation of oases dedicated to the reintroduction of native species, thus strengthening the richness of local biodiversity. The project also includes a variety of activities, ranging from trekking to educational programs on conservation.

Zannier Zardun represents a new step in the global expansion of Zannier Hotels, which remains true to its concept of “mastered simplicity”, emphasizing personalization, cultural immersion, and sustainability. The latter, which today has five hotels and seven private properties in Europe, Africa and Asia, plans to open new projects, including the island of Bendor (Var) in 2026.
