In the world of video games, we find licenses that work over time by regularly offering games or content to renew the player experience. One of the best known is undoubtedly The Sims celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2025.
Given that the first game will be 25 years old soon, we can expect big announcements to be made during the Behind The Sims YouTube live. We give you the date to follow this presentation, as well as the content that we could have on Les Sims 4.

When and how to follow Behind The Sims?
If you want to follow the Behind The Sims presentation, it will be broadcast directly on the Sims YouTube channel (source), Tuesday, January 14 at 6 p.m. (French time). As a reminder, the time indicated on the official Twitter account is 9 AM PT, which is 6 p.m. here due to the time difference.
What to expect at the Behind The Sims presentation?
During this live, we should logically be entitled to revelations around the license, in particular its history with developers who will undoubtedly return to the different games or even content creators to share their love of The Sims.
However, what undoubtedly interests fans is to have announcements on upcoming content for The Sims 4 or even the revelation of a brand new Sims game, or even a remaster for a previous opus, since it’s fashionable at the moment.
We have already had potential leaks on the DLCs that would be added soon, as we spoke to you in another article, with Casanova Cove Kit, Secret Sanctuary Kit and Comfy Gamer Kit in collaboration with Lilsimsie.
Other leaks, on social networks, suggest that Electronic Arts and Maxis reportedly working on The Sims board game and it should arrive shortly according to information that was communicated on Twitter.
Of course, the DLCs and the board game are just rumors; we must wait for confirmation from EA or Maxis which would certainly arrive during this Behind The Sims, January 14 at 6 p.m.
