This weekend, the Football-Club des 2 Rives organized the third edition of the FC 2 Rives Cup, reserved for U 11 and U 13. The local clubs were represented by FC 2 Rives, Malause, Brulhois and Cazes-Mondenard ; neighbors from Lot-et-Garonne, Haute-Garonne, but also a team from Brive, were also present. On Saturday morning, the youngest occupied the two spaces of the Cosec in Valence-d’Agen. 16 teams met with the desire to show all their talent to parents and their educators. We find on the podium: 1. FC 2 Rives; 2. Passage-d’Agen; 3. Juventus from Papus.
Sunday, it’s time for the U 13s with also 16 very good quality teams. In this category, Juventus de Papus won the trophy, ahead of FC Marmande and FCPA 47. The fair play prize was awarded to Union Saint-Jean, both for the players and for their friendly educators. During these two days, the team of volunteers ensured the catering and running of the refreshment bar, the management of the tournament and the refereeing (the young people of FC 2 Rives). President Didier Walaszek thanked all the participants for having responded, congratulated them for their fantastic state of mind and gave them an appointment next year, for the fourth edition.
