It was expected: Charleroi formalizes the fourth most expensive transfer in its history – Tout le football

Aiham Ousou quickly established himself as a starter at Charleroi. Here he is officially Zebra for good.

Last summer, Charleroi began a new cycle under Rik De Mil, pushing several experienced core players out. In defense, Stelios Androu thus found himself as the oldest player in the house.

By his side, Aiham Dared immediately stood out. The Syrian defender arrived on loan from Slavia Prague, who had already loaned him to Häcken and Cadiz.

Stability in Mambourg

Sporting had negotiated a purchase option which would be automatically exercised if Ousou played a certain number of matches. By not missing a minute since September, the Syrian international quickly reached the quota.

It was therefore only a matter of time before Charleroi announced his permanent transfer. The Zebras made it official this afternoon, Ousou signed a contract until June 2028, the operation cost 1.8 million euros.

Putting nearly two million for a player is not trivial for Charleroi : Ousou is thus the fourth most expensive incoming transfer in the club’s history. Only Adem Zorgan (2 million), Dodi Luebakio (2.6 million) and Victor Osimhen (3.5 million) cost more.
