To mark the transition to 2025, the City of Geneva is once again organizing a party on December 31 at Quai Gustave-Ador, on the left bank of the harbor. Concerts, DJs, entertainment, bars, food trucks and a big fireworks display are on the program for this New Year's Eve.
From 8:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., music will be at the center of the party, indicates the City of Geneva. The programming, which aims to satisfy all audiences, will give pride of place to female and local artists. A large stage will be dedicated to live concerts, with electro-pop, rap, Afro and Caribbean sounds. Artists include La Gale, Royale Canine, Mibsy and Kay Rubenz.
A second stage will be devoted to electro music, with Dem Gyalzz, Owelle, Mila Dietrich and Mara. The artist duo Structurals will present mapping there. Between these two stages, a 'disco fair' space will offer shows, karaoke and dance hits.
The countdown will be given by the Mayor of the City of Geneva Christina Kitsos. At midnight, a large fireworks display offered by a local hotel will mark the turn of the year.
