The abolition of the rental value tax which passed the parliamentary ramp on Friday in Berne does not only make people happy. Among which, the umbrella of tenants, Asloca. Its president, the socialist State Councilor Carlo Sommaruga, protests in the name of “unequal treatment with tenants”, and criticizes “the scandalous tax gifts offered to the richest owners”.
