The latest figures revealed confirm the robustness of Maroc Telecom and highlight positive financial and strategic indicators for the first nine months of 2024. With an ambitious investment strategy and a smooth transition to 5G, Maroc Telecom confirms itself as a lever essential to the Moroccan digital economy and a key player in Africa.

The national operator Maroc Telecom, pillar of telecommunications in Morocco and Africa, posted solid performances over the first nine months of 2024, marked by an increase in its consolidated turnover and a strategic positioning with a view to the deployment of 5G , according to evaluations consulted by Barlamane.com.

The latest reports reveal that the overall turnover of companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange increased by 4.7%, reaching 230.4 billion dirhams. In this context, Maroc Telecom captured 37% of the investments made in the Casablanca market, demonstrating its central role in the national economic growth. It was also recommended to accumulate the IAM stock with a target price set at 107.6 dirhams, due to the group’s solid fundamentals and its competitive advantage in the field of new technologies. Thanks to a largely compatible network, the operator is in an ideal position to succeed in the accelerated deployment of 5G, a strategic innovation to strengthen its leadership.

According to the same data, Maroc Telecom confirmed a 6.1% increase in its customer base, now reaching 79.7 million subscribers. Consolidated turnover shows an increase of 0.7%, supported by the notable performances of its subsidiaries under the Moov Africa brand. Profitability remains high with an EBITDA margin of 51.8%, while investments, excluding frequencies and licenses, remain at a sustained level, representing 19.1% of consolidated turnover.

Maroc Telecom, through these results, once again illustrates its ability to combine strategic expansion and control of its financial indicators.
