After companies like Shandong Daye, China’s second largest supplier of steel wire for tires, Hailiang, world leader in the production of copper automobile parts, Shinzoom, China’s third largest producer of anodes, ZTT, specialized in the manufacture of cables for tires. energy, industry, renewable energies and telecommunications, as well as Sentury Tire, Chinese tire manufacturer, a new Chinese group recently chose Tangier for its establishment. This is AEW Automotive Systems Morocco, a company specializing in the research, development and manufacturing of automotive accessory parts.

Morocco, 6th country where AEW operates internationally
This company is setting up in the Tangier Free Zone and its installation project will cover an area of 4,200 m², with an investment of 27 million DH. Ultimately, this new subsidiary of AEW Automotive Systems in Morocco will create 181 jobs, thus contributing to the economic growth of the region and strengthening the Moroccan automotive sector. This project marks an important step for Morocco, which thus becomes the group’s sixth country of operation, after the United States, Germany, France, Japan and Romania, where the group has been present since 2019.

A global player in the automotive sector
AEW Automotive Systems, based in Langfang, near Beijing, has five factories in China and benefits from a cutting-edge research and development structure. The group has filed more than 180 patents in the fields of automotive safety and comfort. It offers a wide range of products, including seat belt reminder (SBR), occupant classification system (OCS), hands-free detection (HOD), as well as seat heaters (heated mattress) , steering wheel (SWH), and ventilation for seats. AEW Automotive Systems also manufactures lumbar supports, massage systems, harnesses, suspension springs and electronic control units (ECUs), strengthening its expertise in the automotive industry. These innovations aim to improve the safety and comfort of motorists while meeting the increasingly strict standards of the global automotive industry.
