The French biathletes once again dominated the Boe brothers' Norway on Sunday afternoon in Hochfilzen (Austria), signing their second success in as many relays this season in the World Cup.
In an identical composition compared to their success in Kontiolahti (Finland), with Fabien Claude as first relay, then Quentin Fillon Maillet, Eric Perrot and Emilien Jacquelin, everything came down to the last relay between Jacquelin and Vebjoern Soerum.
Already as many podiums as last year
Soerum cracked on the last shot standing, going to the penalty ring, when Emilien Jacquelin knocked down his five targets with two picks and without a penalty round. Second in the pursuit on Saturday, he took a 15-second lead which he was able to maintain until the end.

Previously, Claude had held off Sturla Laegreid and passed Fillon Maillet less than ten seconds behind Tarjei Boe. “QFM” then restored a margin of around thirty seconds to Eric Perrot, who held off the ogre Johannes Boe to throw Jacquelin within the same second as Norway.
This is the seventh podium for the French men's team (four victories) in seven races contested this season. Last season, they had to wait until the penultimate stage at Soldier Hollow for a first victory, and were satisfied with seven podiums.
