Bolingoli, first tenure
In the absence of Ilay Camara (see elsewhere), and since Calut is also on the flank while Doumbia is slowly returning from injury, Ivan Leko opted for Boli Bolingoli to occupy the left wing. Coming into the game against OH Louvain, Bolingoli started his first match of the season. He played a fairly decent hour, without errors, but he asked for a replacement due to lack of energy.
Hautekiet suspended against Ghent
Warned for holding Al-Sahafi in the first period, the Liège defender received his fifth yellow card. He will be suspended for the Ghent reception, which will constitute a new headache for Ivan Leko in order to build his defensive trio. As a reminder, Nathan Ngoy, David Bates and Alexandro Calut are injured and already unavailable. Boli Bolingoli could be required to start a second match in a row.
Camara, injured, hopes to be present against Ghent
Ilay Camara, who suffers from a strained thigh, had to skip the meeting. The left-back completed an already long list of injured players. Souleyman Doumbia, at least, was back in the group. Camara hopes to be back for the match against Ghent next Sunday.
