A first goal for Lane Hutson in the NHL

A first goal for Lane Hutson in the NHL

Finally.

Lane Hutson, for the first time in the NHL, managed to find the back of the net in the NHL. I will be able to stop saying, before each match, that “it’s going to happen tonight” for Lane Hutson.

It was Mike Matheson who set the table for #48’s goal.

We’ve been waiting for a long time to see the moment when Hutson, who is good offensively and doesn’t have the best shot, would score. It was finally done in December.

It’s his 22nd career point – and 20th this season – in the NHL, but his first goal.

Despite the fact that he had yet to score, his start to the season (and career) was more than satisfactory. After all, he really energizes the club’s offense by feeding the puck to his teammates.

Patrik Laine (on the power play) passes you a paper.

We felt that the guys were happy for the American. On the ice, the guys celebrated well with him and even Martin St-Louis, behind the bench, looked very satisfied.

And with good reason.

We’ll be able to change tapes with him now. We wonder to what extent he threw the monkey into the stands and that he will manage to score several times before Christmas.

To be continued, therefore.

In burst

– Only one hope from CH at the World Championship.

– Patrik Laine learns to be cool towards himself.

– A name to watch.
