The Spanish businessman and iconic founder of the Mango clothing brand, Isak Andic, died this Saturday in a mountain accident in Collbató, near Barcelona. According to reports, he fell to his death in a ravine during a mountain getaway. Spanish fashion loses one of its most influential and inspiring figures.
“It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden death of Isak Andic, our non-executive chairman of the board and the founder of Mango, in an accident on Saturday”declared Toni Ruiz, the general director of this company, in a press release.

Passionate about mountains and hiking, Isak Andic was also a formidable businessman who built one of the biggest fortunes in Catalonia and Spain. His fortune was estimated at 4.5 billion euros and had increased by 1.8 billion last year.
