The honorary prize, which pays tribute to a personality from the world of media who contributed to the evolution of the national media landscape and the consecration of the noble principles of the profession, was awarded to journalists Mustapha Alaoui and Latifa Marouane.
Concerning the honorary prize awarded to Moroccan journalists working in foreign press organs, in Morocco or abroad, it was awarded to the corresponding journalists Fadwa Mrabti of the “Al Ghad” channel in Morocco, and Adel Zobairi of the “Al Arabiya” channel in Morocco.
The television prize was won ex aequo by the journalists Jama Goulahsen from the television channel 2M for his work entitled “Partir ou Construire”, and Abdelhamid Jabrane from the “Al Aoula” channel for his work “The Kingdom of Renewable Energies”.
Concerning the radio prize, it was won by the journalist Amine Lamrani of National Radio for its report “Autistic children: suffering in silence”.
In the written press category, the prize was awarded to the journalist Hamza Lamtioui Amnzou of the newspaper “Assahifa” for its article entitled “The Algerian petrodollar: Algeria spends billions to gain influence from Washington in order to divide Morocco”.
Regarding the electronic press category, the prize for this edition was won by the journalist Mounia Senhaji of the electronic site “Lematin.ma”, for its article entitled “Legalization of cannabis: three years later, the lights are green but beware of delays”.
In the agency press category, the prize went jointly to journalists Meriem Rkiouak and Imane Brougi from the Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP). Meriem Rkiouak won the prize for her article “Women’s writing: a lot of potential and little visibility”, while Imane Brougi was recognized for her article “Breast cancer in young women: a fight for life at the prime of life.
Regarding the regional press prize, it was awarded ex-aequo to journalists Khadija Bennaji of the newspaper “Sada Taounate” for its article on suicide in Taounat, and Mbarek Kziz from the electronic site “Hounasahara.net” for his article on desertification and agricultural activity in Foum El Oued.
The Amazigh journalistic production prize was won by the journalist Nadia Hsissou of the Amazigh channel for his work on Amghar.
As for the prize for journalistic production on culture and the Saharawi Hassani space, it was awarded to the journalist Hafid Mahdar from the Laâyoune TV channel for its report on the camel race.
Regarding the investigative journalism prize, the jury decided to award it to the journalist Salma Chat of the electronic site “Thevoice.ma” for its report on the detention of Moroccans in Myanmar.
The photography prize was awarded to the journalist photographer Mohamed Kraimi of the electronic site “Hespress” for his photo report entitled “Orthodox Jewish man finds community in Morocco while supporting Palestine”.
