El Hadj Diouf buries the hatchet and calls for calm, after the incidents that occurred during the match between AS Jaraaf and USM Alger as part of the 2nd day of the Caf Cup.
After the final whistle of the match counting for the group stages of the CAF Cup, which pitted Jaaraf against USM Alger (0-0). A general brawl between supporters of the two clubs broke out causing significant material damage.
In this context, Hadji Diouf, icon of African football, expressed his dismay and launched a call for reconciliation during his intervention at the microphone of Sport Team.
“We are really sorry for what happened between AS Jaraaf and USM Alger. We don’t need that for Africa. We need to join hands and work together. When Senegal qualifies for the World Cup, Algeria supports it 100% and vice versa”declared the double African Golden Ball.
Diouf also highlighted the historic relations of friendship between the two countries and called for appeasement “I wanted to tell the supporters of both camps to keep a cool head and to join hands. We wish you lots of good things and long live Africa. »
