The implementation of GoPro on risky matches

The French leader notably developed the idea of ​​introducing on-board cameras to referees in amateur football.with the aim of reducing violence on the ground. A system already tested in some corners of , such as in the and Grand , and which could soon become widespread.

Phillipe Diallo explains that in the event of re-election, the use of the GoPro by referees would be intended for matches considered to be “risky matches » by the departmental districts. This new system will obviously have to be validated by the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (CNIL) in order to be able to store and use these images without compromising privacy. These GoPros will aim to deter, but also to identify individuals who commit violent acts on lawns.
