Did you know that it is possible to consult a health professional over the phone or on site, day, evening, night and even on public holidays?
Listen to our healthcare professionals share tips to help you save time rather than waiting in the emergency room:
Tips in brief
- Call 811, option 1, to have a telephone consultation with a nurse 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. It is possible to obtain an appointment according to your need and availability;
- If you have a doctor or specialist nurse practitioner (SNP), call your medical clinic to check for emergency or walk-in appointments;
- If you are registered collectively in a GMF or if you do not have a family doctor or specialist nurse practitioner (IPS), access the GAP online services;
- Come to the Jeffery Hale Minor Emergency Clinic without an appointment, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week and on public holidays.
