The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation announces that Senegalese high school graduates who obtained a Very Good or Good grade in the 2024 baccalaureate can apply for the Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles (CPGE) for the 2024/2025 academic year. Selection will be based on the application file, mainly on the results of the baccalaureate, with particular attention to the best grades in Maths, Physics-Chemistry, French-Philosophy and English.

Interested candidates must submit the following documents:

  1. A handwritten request addressed to the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
  2. A certified copy of the national identity card.
  3. A certified copy of the 2024 baccalaureate transcript.
  4. Two passport photos.

Applications can be submitted to the mail office of the Directorate General of Higher Education (DGES) from Monday, July 15, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. until Friday, August 2, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Digital applications should be sent to the following address: dossierlA@cpgesn.

Two scientific streams are available: Maths-Physics-Engineering Sciences (MPSI) and Physics-Chemistry-Engineering Sciences (PCSI), with priority given to high school graduates in series S1, S2 and S3. Successful candidates must submit the originals of their baccalaureate certificate and transcript. They will receive a local excellence scholarship to join the Preparatory Classes for Grandes Écoles at the École Polytechnique de Thiès (EPT).
