  • Canon Alexandre Ineichen is the rector of the Lycée Collège de St-Maurice.

Like every two years, the Lycée Collège de Saint-Maurice opened its doors to the public on Saturday. The opportunity for the establishment’s future students to familiarize themselves with an environment that they will probably encounter for the next five years.

The Lycée Collège de Saint-Maurice opened its doors on Saturday as is the case every two years. An event which allowed future students to better understand an imposing establishment, understand its functioning and the perspectives it can offer. Current students also pitched in for this day, by running several explanatory stands. Parents and future college students were also able to interact with the teaching staff and management.

The rector of the Saint-Maurice high school, Alexandre Ineichen, discusses the purpose of this open day.

If in terms of quality of teaching, the college has a good reputation, there is no question, however, of talking about competitiveness between gymnasium establishments. At least that is the opinion of Alexandre Ineichen.

As a reminder, the Saint-Maurice high school has more than 1,100 students divided into just over 50 classes. The success rate for the federal maturity reaches 98% at the end of the fifth year.
