The day after the raid which brought together more than 700 people, and which did not make it possible to find the young Morgane Rivoal, the gendarmes continued their investigations this Saturday, in Pabu and the surrounding area. Around fifty gendarmes were mobilized, the Guingamp teams being reinforced by men from Guerlédan, Callac, Rennes, Saint-Brieuc and Lannion and reservists.
On the ground, around twenty soldiers focused on door-to-door investigation work. They were deployed in particular in the neighborhood close to the parents' home, near the Croissant school where the young girl's brothers and sisters attend school. House after house, they questioned the residents in search of clues and any new information that could advance the search.
Checks on the roads
In the morning, divers from the Lézardrieux nautical brigade, who had already intervened on Wednesday, once again inspected retting ponds near the Restmeur high school, very close to the family home. They also inspected an area on Trieux. “For the moment, we are closing doors,” says a soldier.
The motorized peloton is also called upon this Saturday as reinforcement to carry out checks on motorists in a perimeter around Guingamp. Always looking for the slightest clue.
At the same time, as the prosecutor indicated on Friday evening, the hearings are continuing “in order to leave nothing to chance”. Searches were reportedly carried out at the parents' home and other places linked to the teenager's relatives.
This Saturday at the end of the afternoon, on the sixth day of the disappearance of Morgane Rivoal, these searches have not yet been successful.
