A man lost his life following an armed attack on Friday in Rimouski, in Bas-Saint-Laurent.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) confirms that a man was found seriously injured in an apartment building on rue Pierre-D’Anjou, in the Saint-Robert district, after a call made to 9-1-1 around 4:30 p.m. .

Resuscitation maneuvers were attempted without success and his death was finally confirmed.
