This control campaign, carried out under the direction of the city’s pasha, involved representatives of several organizations, including the economic and social department of the prefecture, the deputy head of the second administrative district, the National Health Security Office of food products (ONSSA), the municipal health office, the administrative police of the municipal council, as well as a representative of the Moroccan Association for Consumer Protection.
The inspections targeted businesses, catering services and butcher shops within the territory of the second urban district. The seized meat and sausages were destroyed, and a report was drawn up to document this offense.
Furthermore, this operation also made it possible to raise merchants’ awareness of the mandatory display of prices, compliance with health standards applicable to food products, as well as the cleanliness of premises and the guarantee of services in hygienic and secure conditions.
