During this session chaired by Nabila Rmilipresident of Council of the municipality of Casablancathe members of the council notably adopted a partnership agreement intended to promote cultural tourism in the cities and the historical sites of the Casablanca-Settat regionas well as another with the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, the Wilaya of the region, the Council of the region, the Establishment of Intercommunal Cooperation (ECI) “Al Baida”, Casa Transports and Alsa Casablanca, for the acquisition of tourist buses for the benefit of the ECI.
They also approved the amendment of the partnership agreement with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication relating to the coordination of the organization of cultural events as well as the rehabilitation of architectural heritage history of Casablanca. They also adopted two draft charters governing road signs as well as the mapping system.

In her intervention, the mayor of the city noted that this session is dominated by projects in favor of the promotion of the destination of Casablanca programmed as part of the new development dynamic experienced by the metropolis. She announced that the construction work of new parking lots in the city center continue according to schedule. Thus, the new parking lot hotel triangle with a capacity of more than 500 parking spaces will be open next week, that of boulevard Roudani will be completed in March 2025, while the one next to the United Nations Square will be launched in June 2025. The manager also assured that work to carry out sports projects, mainly relating to the rehabilitation of numerous Casablanca stadiums, is continuing in accordance with the set agenda.
In this sense, the Council approved the draft agreement by which it delegates to the local development company “Casa Aménagement” the mission of building a cultural complex in Sidi Othmaneas well as the draft agreement with the same company, relating to the completion of the work of sports memory museum au Mohammed V sports complex. Council members also approved the other items on the agenda for this special session.
