This Friday morning, around 200 people of all ages gathered at the Pro Park, the En Avant Guingamp training center, located in Pabu (22), to participate in the hunt organized from 9 a.m., by the gendarmerie, in the goal of finding Morgane Rivoal. The teenager, aged 13, has been missing since Monday November 25. That morning, the young girl had to go to her college but she never took the bus.
The banks of the Trieux and the surrounding areas explored
Since Monday, significant resources – helicopter, dogs, divers, etc. – have been deployed by the gendarmerie to find Morgane Rivoal.
This Friday, a hunt is organized. It brings together relatives, retirees, volunteers from En Avant Guingamp including coach Sylvain Ripoll, students… and many people from all over the sector, who do not necessarily know the family of the missing young person but who wish to help to research. Some even took a day off to be able to participate.
The volunteers are divided into groups of 30 people, each supervised by an officer or non-commissioned officer. In total, around twenty soldiers are mobilized for the hunt.
The first group set off around 9 a.m. and searches are planned all day on the banks of the Trieux, in the surrounding countryside and in nearby pavilions. The family, deeply shaken, is also present.
The mayor of Pabu, also on site, said he was impressed by the scale of the mobilization. The disappearance of Morgane Rivoal, of normal build, measuring 1.54 m, long, wavy and brown hair, with blue-green eyes, arouses a real wave of emotion in the region of Guingamp.
