Nearly two months after the 50 km/h speed limit came into force on the Paris ring road, the anger has not abated, and is now taking the form of a massive legal action. 500 road users decided to unite to put a stop to this measure. This Friday, they filed a request with the Paris administrative court to annul the municipal decree of the city of Paris of September 30. Two associations experienced in legal battles are joining forces with this striking action: the League for the Defense of Drivers and the French Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC), each represented by its lawyer.
These 500 applicants, who came together in a collective via the Legal Response platform, are all ordinary road users, forced to use this ring road for their daily trips. « These are largely motorists from the Paris region. »noted…
